Occupational Diseases: 
Things you need to know

After attending this presentation session the participant will: 
· Be able to define an occupational disease
· Know the difference between an occupational disease and a work related condition
· List four major health effects associated with asbestos exposure.
· List four sites of cancer where workplace exposures are more likely to have a causal influence
· Know common exposures associated with occupational asthma and workplace practices that decrease the likelihood of developing this condition and its severity
